A good reference to use will be 75% – 85%** of the Powerseed battery size divided by your devices battery size. This will help determine the average amount of recharge times.

The iPhone 4S has a 1420mAh battery and iPhone 5 a 1440mAh battery. The PS-2400 can fully recharge the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 with some power left over.

  • PS-2400 is 2400mAh 75% is 1800mAh
  • iPhone 4S:     1800mAh/1420mAh = 1.27 recharge time
  • iPhone 5:      1800mAh/1440mAh = 1.25 recharge time
**75%-85% is used as average  for conditions based on climate temperature and usage.

Will the Powerseed charge a tablet, iPad?

Yes, depending on the battery capacity and output power required. For tablets , i Pads and other devices  with large capacity batteries or require higher than 5V/1A for charging we suggest you use the PS-10000 or PS-15000.
The PS-10000 / PS-150000 has outputs for both 5V/1A and 5V/2.1A for higher capacity and faster charging.

Can I use the PS-2400 to charge my device that requires 5V/2.1A like the iPad 3 or iPad 4?

Since the iPad 3 and iPad 4 have a 12000MAH battery and require 5V/2.1A for charging. The PS-2400 and PS-4800 will provide a slower charge since it is much smaller in capacity and output.  This means they would act more like a trickle charger or battery backup, It would be extending battery usage time more than recharging. You may be required to use your original USB cable for iPad4 and some other devices.

I left my Powerseed in the Sun and it is hot?

Avoid Heat! It degrades the battery and can lead to an explosion. Wait for device to cool before trying to use. If device is warped discontinue use.
